The Worcester Lead Action Collaborative (WLAC), coordinated by REC, is a partnership of twenty public and private agencies and neighborhood organizations that aims to eliminate childhood lead poisoning in Worcester, one of the highest-risk communities in Massachusetts for this environmental health problem. The Worcester Lead Action Collaborative is one of only two Lead Poisoning Community Mobilization Networks in the state.
