There will be music by the band Pueblo Nuevo, free seeds, a free gardening workshop from 12:30-1:30 inside City Hall in room 310, and booths from community organizations. Come help us kick off gardening season in style - celebrate spring and community!

Great New Website
REC member Lance McKee has developed a new website for people who are interested in working on clean energy issues locally. Here's Lance:
After a year of work, my daughters and I are ready to have people begin using our YourEnergyOptions website.
Please spend a minute or two with it. I hope you will create a personal profile, and perhaps a profile of your business, organization, event, or school project or program. Our aim is to have visitors to our site create a database of who's interested in clean energy and what's happening locally with clean energy. We want to promote local awareness and local clean energy market development.
We will be grateful for any feedback you provide now. We want it to be as good as we can make it before we begin to promote it broadly in the US and Canada.

Positions Available
The YouthGROW program is looking for applicants for summer positions as assistant youth coordinators. A job description can be found here.
YouthGROW is also accepting applications from youth ages 14-16 who want to participate in the program. Applications are available at the Worcester Youth Center, the Main South CDC, the Central YMCA, and on the REC website.
