Be a Raised Bed Hero!
Volunteers needed to build raised beds at the Lafayette Place Community Garden
We've had to cancel a couple of attempts for our urgent volunteer call to build raised beds at one of Worcester's dearest community gardens but this time it's for real!!! Julius Jones, the Regional Environmental Council's brave community garden coordinator and urban farm manager will be working on Saturday (5/26) and Sunday (5/27) afternoon from 12-4pm at the Lafayette Place Community Garden to build new garden beds that will be accessible to handicapped and senior gardens and they need it desperately!! Lunch as well as our eternal thanks are included. PLEASE email me or call the REC at 508-799-9139 and ask for Casey to let me know if you can come and we'll make a plan of where and when to meet. Thanks!
