Annual REC Earth Day Neighborhood & Garden Cleanups

Each year on or near Earth Day (April 22) the REC and hundreds of volunteers join together to clean up neighborhoods, parks and gardens of Worcester.

In 2019, over 1,200 volunteers cleaned up 50 tons of trash at 100 sites across Worcester.

Create a team by registering as a Site Coordinator or sign up as a Volunteer and join a team! All registration is free.

We provide you with bags, gloves, sorting instructions and other guidelines. You and your team picks up the trash, we pick up the bags and dispose of it.

Join us next year to keep our home the best it can be!

THANK YOU TO OUR 2019 SPONSORS!

Mayor Joe Petty, City Councilor Sean Rose, City Councilor Matt Wally, State Representative Dan Donahue, School Committee Member John Monfredo, City Councilor Sarai Rivera, State Representative David Leboeuf, and City Manager Ed Augustus.
